Helpful Bits
Getting things coordinated and done on time can be very stressful.
Another part of what we do is to keep you informed of the process and progress. There needs to be a close working relationship between us, the lender, your solicitor or conveyancer, real estate agent or vendor and of course, you. Perhaps you may find it useful to get a feel for what you can borrow in the first instance to enable you to fish in the right pond.
Other helpful bits
- Ensure the correct spelling is on the application, the same as your birth certificate or other legal documents.
- Consider loan protection insurance
- Seek professional legal and financial advice
- Update your will
- Ask lots of questions
- Set aside a couple of hours to discuss things
- Boil the jug when we come around
We recommend you get the loan and mortgage documents checked by a solicitor or conveyancer. They are legally binding documents and for a small amount of their time, it is critically important the documents are correct and that you have another opinion.
Is that everything you need to know – no, but we hope it fills lots of gaps and creates a think tank to enable you to be better informed.
